CLASS OF 2026

The beginning of the next chapter!
Leavers' Day is a milestone celebrating the end of a school era at Slindon College! This is characterised by emotional assemblies, the Slindon College hoodie and gift bag, traditional shirt-signing, and anticipation for the future. It marks the transition for Year 11s and Sixth Formers moving away from us and preparing for College, universities, apprenticeships, and the working world.
Celebrations for both Year 11 and Sixth Form leavers were a vibrant mix of nostalgia, relief, and excitement. For Year 11 pupils finishing their GCSEs, it was a chance to participate in the iconic UK tradition of signing school shirts and sharing a final Leavers' Assembly before study leave.

Our Senior Leadership Team honoured the pupils with the coveted 'Slindon College Gift Bag' and each pupil was given a chance to share the next stage in their education journey in assembly. Talks were led by Mrs Vlahodimou (Headteacher) and specially shot videos were created by Mr Bentley-Angell (Head of Performing Arts) from our Usborne Library. Parents will get a chance to see these at the end of the College year.
For their final adventure, our leavers braved the scorching heat at local 'Out of Bounds' climbing! The pupils had an amazing final day that featured pizza, Adventure Golf, bowling and Clip and Climb.

Thank you to the Senior Leadership Team for organising these events, which was led on the day by Mrs Vlahodimou (Headteacher), Mr Robson (Deputy Head), Mrs Miles (Assistant Head), Mrs Kettink (Pastoral), Mrs Batten-Pearce (Sixth Form Tutor), Mr Flint (LSA for Design Technology), Mr Bentley-Angell (Head of Performing Arts) & Mr Saysell (Head of Art).
We would like to wish our pupils all the best for their exams, and for the future.
