KS4 Work Experience

Our KS4 work experience programme offers Slindon College pupils a vital first step into the working world, bridging the gap between classrooms and careers. This short-term placement allows pupils to observe professionals, develop crucial employability skills, and gain real-world context before making future subject and career choices.

It helps pupils "try out" a specific industry to see if it is a good fit, or rule out careers they might not enjoy. Pupils will rapidly develop communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills that employers value in any job, as they navigate a professional environment, meet new people, and use their initiative, building independence.

Our pupils have proven they have a vast range of passion and skill; we can't wait to see where these will lead them!
