Seed to Supper in the community!

Taking our enrichment outside the school gates!
Our enrichment activities are purposeful educational or recreational tasks designed to broaden our pupils' horizons. They push past standard curricula to encourage creativity, develop skills and build personal interests.
This week we took our 'Seed to Supper' enrichment to Slindon CofE Primary to help with some gardening duties! Every pupil worked exceptionally hard to clear a covered pathway within an uncultivated enclosed garden area – a pollinator's paradise.
The visit provided an opportunity to develop practical gardening skills while making a positive contribution towards our local community, encouraging communication, teamwork, and a sense of pride in caring for green spaces.
We would like to say a big thanks to Mrs Flower and Miss Webb for allowing us access to the school. Our Seed to Supper programme is led by Mrs Kettink (Pastoral) and Mrs Bezants (Science).
