Prep and Year 7 'WiseUp' with Team Bullding fun!
Prep and Year 7 pupils have settled into the new school year with remarkable confidence, enthusiasm, and ease - with the help of WiseUp!
Walking through Slindon College, it is wonderful to see how quickly our new pupils have adapted to their new routines, navigated their timetables and classrooms with growing independence. Strong new friendships are already forming, and the classrooms are buzzing with energy as pupils eagerly dive into their academic lessons, sports, and extracurricular activities.
To kick-start the year, our Prep and Year 7 pupils took part in a 'WiseUp' day. For over 15 years, WiseUp has brought fully managed onsite activity and life skills programmes directly to schools across the UK.
Programs arrive directly at your school grounds with all equipment and trained instructors supplied; activities focus on boosting student confidence, resilience, and teamwork. Our pupils were able to take part in activities which included fire lighting, shelter building and even making a stretcher!
A huge well done to our pupils. Both year groups have embraced the College wholeheartedly, showing a fantastic attitude that sets a wonderful tone for the year ahead.
