Slindon College's Swimming Gala will take place this Friday from 1.30pm with the first race starting at 1:40pm.

An annual whole school event involving pupils taking part in a swimming race from 1:30pm-3:30pm.

The Gala will finish at approximately 2.45pm and will be followed by FoSC’s plant and cake sale.  

This event will run weather permitting.

Year 12 pupils will support the running of the event as part of their sports leadership learning and will not be competing.

We ask for the pupils to come to College in their P.E kits and to wear their swimming trunks underneath so they are ready for a quick change.  

Please can the pupils remember to bring on the day a towel, spare pair of underwear to get changed into after the event and weather appropriate items i.e. a hat, sun cream and a water bottle.

If you are a parent planning to attend please bring an umbrella for shade should you so require as we are unable to provide shade for every attendee.

The focus of a Slindon College sports event is not the competitive element; it is all about participation and enjoyment.
