This year the event is raising funds for the restoration of the Grade II listed Conservatory, which forms part of the impressive Elizabethan House. The Conservatory, which is currently out of use, will become a multi-use space for the College in addition to being an asset for Slindon House events.

The evening will include a bubbles and canapes reception in the drawing rooms with background music from a harpist, followed by an intimate performance from Rachael Hawnt (BBC 1 All Together Now finalist) accompanied by Ashley Cutler on our very own grand piano in the Main Hall.

Our last fundraiser ‘Christmas By Candlelight at the College’ held in December 2019 raised £4,300 towards our ‘Sensory Garden Project’. We are hopeful that this year, after an unforeseen interlude, we can achieve the same - if not more - for our historic Conservatory.

Tickets are limited due to consideration of capacity in light of COVID-19. To allow for social distancing the configuration of the evening will be different to past Christmas by Candlelight events.
