Freddie shines at Sussex Cricket

Slindon College are proud to showcase Freddie (KS4).
Freddie (KS4) has been having the most amazing experiences recently with Sussex Cricket, as one of a limited number of Disability Cricket players to represent his team of which he is Vice Captain.
Freddie was chosen to represent and showcase disability cricket to 700 school children at the Sussex Hove Cricket Ground. He met some incredible people, answered questions from the Head of the Paralympics and played cricket in the grass nets with the top people in disability cricket.
Freddie said:
"It was one of the best days of my life”.
Earlier this year he was invited to take part in the Sussex Cricket Media Day, which involved him having his photo taken with all his heroes.
A huge well done to Freddie from all at Slindon College.
