Greenpower Success for Slindon College!

On Saturday, Slindon College’s Greenpower team raced at the iconic Dunsfold Park in Surrey – home to the hit BBC TV series Top Gear.

The day was a resounding success, with our two new drivers, Eli and William, taking the wheel of our car Burby for their very first Greenpower race. Competing against almost 50 other teams from across the UK, Eli and William achieved an impressive 2nd place, showcasing both skill and teamwork!

The team was awarded a prestigious Greenpower Cup, with each member receiving a medal in recognition of their hard work and dedication.

This outstanding result sets the stage for the next race – the International Final at the renowned Goodwood Motor Circuit on Sunday, 12th October.

The College Greenpower team is managed by our Head of Design Technology, Mr Burbidge.
