Our whole school Swimming Gala event has been a long-standing (or should we say swimming) tradition at Slindon College.

For the Swimming Gala 2024 our Houses; Cowdray, Norfolk, Richmond and Sussex, were pitted against each other in various aquatic challenges! 

With a huge turnout from our wonderful and supportive parents and carers, and with a glorious raffle, flower sale and bake sale provided by our Friends of Slindon College (FoSC);  this was an excellent way to round off the first half of the term and the fact that the sun was shining brightly meant the day was enjoyed by everyone, including those cheering on the competitors!

A huge well done to all those who took part, particularly to Cowdray House who soared to success with the most points! 

Miss Thompson, Head of Cowdray House said:

"I'm very proud of our Cowdray team, who showed commitment and teamwork throughout!"

The event was organised by our Head of PE teacher, Mr Dickinson who said:

"I'm thrilled with the turn-out from parents this year, and the incredible effort put in by our pupils, in our lead up lessons, and in the main event itself! Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen."
