Richmond & Cowdray triumph at Inter-House Rugby Tournament!

A drizzly December afternoon didn't dampen the spirits of our fantastic Slindon College House Rugby Teams! For the second time in 2019, the four houses of Slindon College: Cowdray, Norfolk, Richmond & Sussex took part in a whole school inter-house tournament. This time was the turn of rugby!

Donning their familiar Slindon College PE uniforms with their house socks sporting their house colours; the afternoon saw parents and staff gathered on our rugby field. But there wasn't much time to gaze upon our beautiful view of the South Downs National Park, as the students fought it out to win the converted top spot on our Slindon College Leader Boards!

Dazzling displays of silky skills; a bit of rough action and some outstanding personal performances. A huge congratulations to Theo Woodruff in KS3 and Mason Evans playing for KS4 who scored the most trys for their key stages.

Here is how the games played out:

1st Cowdray House 41

Norfolk House

Sussex House

3rd Richmond House 10

1st Richmond House 10
2nd Norfolk House 6
3rd Sussex House 3
4th Cowdray House 0

A huge thank you to Mr Tom Belcher, who arranged todays matches and a massive well done to everyone who took part, and to those who came to support!
