The End of an Era...

There was not a dry eye in Slindon College as we began our full day of celebrations for our hard-working Year 11 and Sixth Form leavers.

Mrs Vlahodimou (Headteacher) and Mr Sharpe (Assistant Head) led an assembly where the full college of pupils found out a little of what great adventures are in store for each of our individual Leavers beyond the College. The Leavers also received the famous 'Slindon College Goody Bag' and the Leavers Hoodies.

As part of the assembly, the College came together to watch a specially shot interview called 'Goodbye, Slindon College' created by Mr Bentley (Head of Performing Arts) as part of the ongoing tradition, and featuring pupils themselves discussing their achievements, highlights, and what they will miss about our wonderful College.

The team then took a trip to nearby Chichester Gate for an epic meal at the Smith & Western (1800's USA themed restaurant) and topped off the celebrations with a competitive game of bowling.

Mrs Vlahodimou said:

"I would like to wish all our Leavers the very best of luck with all they do moving forward, and never forget the those important life lessons learnt at Slindon College along the way..."
