Swimming Gala 2026
The sunshine was on our side for the annual inter-House Swimming Gala, and our pupils were eager to dive straight into the action!
Our whole school Swimming Gala event has been a long-standing (or should we say long-swimming) tradition at Slindon College since it began way back when!
For the Swimming Gala 2026 our Houses teams (Cowdray, Norfolk, Richmond and Sussex), were pitted against each other in various aquatic challenges!
With a huge turnout from our wonderful and supportive parents and carers, and with a glorious raffle and plant sale provided by our Friends of Slindon College (FoSC); this was an excellent way to round off the first half of the term! The fact that the sun was shining brightly meant the day was enjoyed by everyone, including those cheering on the competitors...
A huge well done to all those who took part.
The event was organised by our Head of PE teacher, Mr Dickinson who said:
"I'm thrilled with the incredible effort put in by our pupils both in our lead-up lessons, and in the main event itself! Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen."
