Friends of Slindon College (FoSC) would like to thank all of the pupils that took part in 'Your Race Your Pace' this year with a record-breaking amount taking part, and the amount of miles accumulated is the highest ever!  

The total amount of miles covered this year was a fabulous 977,  which means that if you left Slindon College and went in a straight line you could get to southern Italy! This has taken a tremendous effort by the pupils who should be very proud of themselves. 

This year has also showed what a great variety of ways Slindon pupils use to keep themselves active. As well as walking, running, cycling and swimming some of the students have really showed imagination and we have had entries of distances that have been covered by snow boarding, white water rafting, hiking over mountains in Scotland and taking part in team games such as football and cricket.   

During the prize giving at the end of term a trophy will be presented to the house that has collected the most miles as well as a medal for the pupil who covered the biggest distance from each House, so keep an ear out for your name if you entered!
